Tried to get some posts in under the wire, however my posts made it under the new day.
My computer time was over a min to go; far different then your computer time.

Checked my clock, with the US Navy Master clock; my computer followed their master clock by only 1 second.

Please check your website timings as I firmly believe they are off, resulting in posts not making the daily deadline! Thanks in Advance!

CdnLynx,
I documented the same problem, and it can occur as much as one hour before midnight local time, and only seems to affect points gathered for forum posts, not price updates or reading news articles.

See the discussion in this thread in the Talk Back To Us forum.

I found it funny that when I got to this page, it showed 7:42 AM, but once I hit "Post a Reply", the clock went to 7:41 AM. I guess we can go back in time?

Or, they could just look at the time up in the top right corner to see what GB is displaying? Would not that time pull from the GB time? different from USNO

If you are close to the time wire, go to Winnipeg, Edmonton, or Vancouver sites, your log-in is good for all GasBuddy sites.
Do not go to US sites if you are posting prices, they won't post properly because Canadian sites don't have an assumed .9 cents, US sites do, but for forum posts you can use any Canadian or US site in the next time zone

Regardless if the website is off a couple minutes, it is best to post gas prices, posting, reading news earlier than just a couple minutes before midnight on the site that your on.

Oh, and as a side note, if you think you are going to not make the midnight cut off, you can always sign on to another site in a timezone that is behind you to get the needed news and forum postings to get your points.

Wow! That Navy clock is right on the money! I know that for a fact, because it matches the clock in the corner of my Windows desktop. :-)
