The less weight a car moves, the more efficient it is. Thus, under the same circumstances, the first half is consumed faster than the second half. That is not a guess; that is simply a principle of physics. Of course, if one drives much faster when the second half of the fuel supply is being used, the second half will be used more rapidly. It's really a pretty silly question, don't you think?

A tank of gas, like life, is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer you are to the end, the faster it goes.

Oh yes. And i think thers two reasons possible. The irst is of course because the tank is getting more air and the gas hitting the walls evaporates faster of course. The second reason wich im not sure about is that i think that the tanks are made in a way that they are bigger on the top and smaler on the bottom

For me, it only seems that way when I top off the tank. It seems that it takes forever for the needle to drop down to "F". Any other time it seems that It drops slower after the half tank. This is probably because the vehicle is a little lighter with a half tank than with a full tank.
