Weather is great and my grass seeding is coming up. Our street is a disaster with new water mains being put in. The democrat who replaced Scott Walker as County executive is turning out to have a real fiscal conservative streak - just like Walker, and is real pleasant surprise. But, his liberal board of supervisors are not happy campers. I suspect he's going to have the job as long as he wants it. He'll have my support.

Yes, I worked for two paid departments one in Illinois and one in Texas and also a member of the local volunteer department where I lived in Texas. I started out as a FF/Paramedic and ended up getting into Fire/Arson Investigations. Then I got into computers and left the paid department but staying in the volunteer department until I moved here.

Yes we do need more refineries, but we ij the east need better supply lines, preferably pipelines, which would be difficult because of congestion. Prices in the mid west traditionally run less then in the east. A big part of the cost of fuel is transporting either the oil or the refined gas from point A to point B. Lets be buddies
