The Volt has a 40 mile battery range before the gas engine driving the generator powers the motor and recharges the battery for a combined range of 300+ miles. Hi, I got my "SUN" brand panels from http://sunelec.com/ The "SUN" brand is made in the USA and in Germany, so you have to look at each one to see which ones you want to buy. EVERGREEN brand also has panels made in the USA.

I do agree, we (as americans) need to find "made in the USA" whenever possible.

I just wanted you to know, my solar panels are MADE IN THE USA!!!!
