Hope it wasn't assembly sabotage caused by an employee who remained after the first were layed off.

The ding-dong owner has waaaaaay more money than brains. Would you call your auto manufacturer or local car dealer if your car was on fire? Or would you call the fire department first? (9-1-1) What an idiot!

Interesting incident. Of course the Karma Hybrid is not the only auto in the world which can catch on fire. Any auto or anything else can catch on fire.

200 9 volt batteries wired together make an impressive arc. Imagine 200+ lithium ion cells wired together in a confined space.

aquarinut British Columbia "Called Fisker first.... then advised to call 911..???
Goes to show that buyers that have more money than brains are the target market for this vehicle!!!"
Makes me wonder if it actually happened the way the idiot "driver" reported it... or set the blaze himself.
On the other hand, several years ago, a co-worker found his American-made pick-up truck on fire in his own driveway. The truck was not brand new, it was a manufacturing defect- just a ticking time-bomb.
