Oil Settles At Highest Level Of The Month and why should fuel prices at the pump go down! Fuel prices at the pump will not go down anytime soon with this crappy economy. Big Oil and Big Gas sells fuel and natural gas on the world market for higher prices. The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! The price at the pump needs to go down to $2/gallon ----- *$3, *$3.50/gallon or *$4.00 is Not the new low! More Refineries are Not the answer, Stop exporting fuel is! Take care of the domestic fuel market first before exporting and selling our fuel or oil! 'Coming out of the closet' Sneeky's lousy, smoke and mirrors, lack of jobs, dog and pony show and in the crapper socialist economy, the jobs are Not here. Sneeky's socialist economy is Not improving but continues to hurt the population and the job numbers continue to be down! Drive vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high!

the speculators, a.k.a. investors, need to be barred from trading in crude oil, products refined from crude oil and natural gas future contracts period.

Now, that is a rather topsy-turvy headline. Settling does not imply a peak. And GasBuddy sold? I don't buy either one.

So a day or two it was at its'lowest point level due to abundant supply, which has existed for the past several years and now they find multiple reasons to increase pricing to its' highest level of the month... amazing!!!

Thanks to MidNJ for info that GasBuddy is SOLD. Confirmed.
see... http://www.pehub.com/189084/opis-buys-gasbuddy/
---- Oil Price Information Service has acquired mobile app and website GasBuddy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. GasBuddy is an app that helps consumers find cheap gas prices.
PRESS RELEASE Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) has acquired GasBuddy, the mobile app and website relied on by more than 26 million motorists to pinpoint the most comprehensive and accurate gasoline prices at service stations and convenience stores across the U.S. and Canada.
“Through our combined resources, consumers will have the very best retail fuel prices, tools and information to save money at the pump,” said OPIS CEO Brian Crotty. “I look forward to working shoulder-to-shoulder with Dustin Coupal and Jason Toews, co-founders of GasBuddy, and their talented staff,” he added.
“We are excited to gain access to OPIS’s enormous database of spot and wholesale gasoline prices and OPIS’ award-winning daily news wire,” said GasBuddy co-founder Jason Toews. “That access will further enhance GasBuddy’s ability to alert consumers to retail gasoline and diesel price changes in the marketplace.”
OPIS will also accelerate investment in GasBuddy’s “OpenStore” software, which enables convenience stores to reach their customers with highly targeted value offerings. “Expanding the couponing features of this platform will provide discounts to consumers for a host of products and services sold at service stations and convenience stores,” Crotty added.
Horizon Partners served as financial advisor to GasBuddy / OpenStore in this transaction. To learn more, visit www.horizonpartners.com.

The American economy is strengthening by the day even if the average Joe is not aware of it and with a stronger economy comes higher prices and that is how capitalism works!

Bad that oil is rising. Worse by far is that gasoline spiked 8.5cts today.
A spike will be coming by Monday or Tuesday. GREEDway (Speedway) is licking their chops and will greed grab soon.
